Social Media Specialist at Project Growth
Project Growth’s client, a leader in the hospitality industry, dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and delivering exceptional guest experiences. They are seeking a creative and forward-thinking Social Media Specialist with experience in the hospitality sector, who can effectively integrate sustainable messaging across various media platforms.
Job Description:
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for crafting engaging content across multiple platforms, including email, web, editorial, digital media, and social media. They will serve as a brand champion, ensuring all content aligns with the company’s values and effectively promotes its product portfolio and value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a brand champion, ensuring consistent messaging across all communication touchpoints.
- Develop and manage a multimedia content strategy for Legacy Vacation Resort (LVR) that spans web/eCommerce, social media, digital media, reputation management, extranets, email marketing, and Google Business.
- Create and maintain the LVR social media content calendar, manage content publishing, and report on social media performance.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and execute creative strategies that promote the product portfolio, company culture, and sustainability values.
- Ensure all creative content aligns with the company’s brand and revenue goals.
- Provide and update website copy content as needed, adhering to website guidelines and best practices.
- Develop digital and blog copy to support the company’s SEO capabilities.
- Assist in updating product content across all channels, including PMS, extranets, websites, and community partners.
- Craft internal documents, newsletters, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
- Explore and manage partnerships with other companies to enhance social engagement.
- Develop content for B Corp partnership initiatives and manage an asset library.
Creative Content Responsibilities:
- Create video designs and edits, including lifestyle content, infographics, graphics, and text overlays.
- Design and resize image graphics with text overlays.
- General graphic design for various needs.
- Design email templates, print collateral, and signage.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Experience: At least two years of creative writing experience in the travel/hospitality industry. Knowledge of B Corporations and experience integrating sustainable messaging across multiple mediums is preferred.
- Design Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Experience with project management software like Monday.com.
- Knowledge of HTML and WordPress.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
