Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited, established in 1981 with Registration No. RC 37125, is a leading provider of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB). Located in Lagos, Nigeria, we specialize in constructing a variety of buildings including warehouses, airport hangars, factories, churches, and more. Our expertise extends to structural steel fabrication, civil construction, and the development of semi-trailers and truck bodies. Our factory is equipped to produce 250 tons of steel products monthly, supported by a team of highly skilled professionals.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. This role requires a detailed knowledge of electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installation: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate and correct problems.
• System Inspection: Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with codes.
• Safety and Compliance: Advise management on potential hazards and ensure the safety and compatibility of electrical systems.
• Planning and Layout: Plan and install electrical wiring and fixtures based on job specifications and company standards.
• Training: Direct and train workers in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine wiring and equipment locations.
• Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures as needed.

Requirements:

• Education: OND / HND / B.Sc Degrees in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrical technician in a production or construction company.
• Technical Skills: Detailed knowledge of troubleshooting and fault detection on electrical equipment, three-phase electrical devices, and auto rewiring.
• Additional Skills: Experience with power construction equipment, measuring devices, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
