Interswitch is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to work on big data projects, analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights that will enhance our products and platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing strategic recommendations and thought leadership on data science solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

• Gather and analyze large volumes of data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats.
• Translate business needs into data science solutions to support Interswitch’s payment processing agenda.
• Conduct deep data analysis to understand product performance and customer behavior, identifying opportunities for growth and enhancement.

Data Architecture:

• Educate stakeholders on data standardization to ensure accuracy.
• Build and maintain Interswitch’s data warehouse to support reporting and analysis.
• Improve the data pipeline by implementing quality controls, documentation, and anomaly detection.

Performance Improvement through Business Intelligence:

• Support machine learning initiatives through data analysis and preparation.
• Analyze payment processing funnels to enhance user experience, conversion rates, and profitability.

Benchmarking and Opportunity Identification:

• Conduct industry benchmarking to identify trends and best practices for optimizing revenue growth.
• Apply artificial intelligence and machine learning insights to drive innovation.

Internal Communications and Stakeholder Support:

• Provide advice on internal communication systems and data-driven product design.
• Mentor team members and foster an environment of collaboration.
• Share actionable insights with business units to inform decision-making on product performance and optimization.

Job Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields.
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytical roles, ideally within financial or FinTech sectors.
  • A minimum of 3 years in data science roles.
