Social Media Manager at Miva Open University
Miva Open University, a Pan-African distance e-learning university, is seeking a Social Media Manager to join their dynamic marketing team in Abuja, Nigeria. Miva aims to revolutionize tertiary education across Africa, leveraging digital technologies and excellent academic talent to create a more accessible, future-focused educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Create, publish, and manage engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Monitor and evaluate social media performance daily in line with client goals.
- Build and nurture online communities specific to each platform.
- Stay updated on social media and internet marketing trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
- Support SEO strategies and link-building campaigns.
- Provide analysis and recommendations for program evolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong knowledge of SEO and content marketing is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking with a passion for developing innovative content.
