Store Manager at Superflux International Limited
Superflux International Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Manager to oversee warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, ensure proper stock levels, and maintain an organized warehouse, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods to the warehouse accurately.
- Store materials and supplies properly, ensuring appropriate handling and storage practices.
- Maintain and update inventory records, including stock levels, movements, and reconciliations.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure the warehouse is well-organized, clean, and space is efficiently utilized.
- Adhere to inventory management procedures (e.g., FIFO) and monitor expiration dates.
- Implement security measures to prevent theft, loss, or damage to stock.
- Collaborate with departments like finance, production, and marketing to meet inventory needs.
- Respond to inventory-related requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on inventory management best practices and industry trends.
- Train and supervise store personnel, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
Qualification, Experience & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Management Science.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Company.
- Proven expertise in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Experience with accounting software, particularly Sage, is an advantage.
- Ability to provide weekly, monthly, or periodic reports to management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Inventory Control & Accuracy:
- Participate in regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Work with the Audit team to implement corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures to avoid stockouts and overstocks.
- Identify and suggest process improvements for inventory management.
