Lead UX Writer and Content Designer at Moniepoint Incorporated

About the Role:
As a Lead UX Writer and Content Designer at Moniepoint Incorporated, you’ll shape the written content for our digital products (apps, web platforms, etc.), enhancing user experience. You’ll collaborate across teams to develop a cohesive content strategy aligned with our brand tone and user insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy Leadership: Own and lead the content strategy across Moniepoint’s products, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Develop Guidelines & Standards: Create and maintain content guidelines, tone of voice, and best practices for consistent communication across all platforms.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing to ensure content is integrated into product design and development.
- Content Leadership: Oversee and direct the creation of UX content that aligns with user needs, business goals, and brand identity.
- Content Innovation: Identify opportunities to enhance content strategies for both Nigerian and UK financial markets, ensuring engaging and functional product copy.
- Content Audits & Optimization: Lead regular audits to improve communication effectiveness using insights from user testing and analytics.
- Accessibility & Inclusivity: Ensure content follows best practices for accessibility and inclusivity to serve all users.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to foster a culture of continuous learning within the content team.
- SEO & Marketing Alignment: Align content with SEO and broader marketing strategies to drive user growth and engagement.
- Design Systems Integration: Ensure content seamlessly integrates with design systems, promoting a consistent user experience.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Languages, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven expertise in user-focused content with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, experience establishing UX writing best practices, and team management experience.
- Familiarity: Understanding of UX design principles.
- Team Spirit: Collaborative, friendly, and approachable nature.
