Job Description:

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst at Cavista to join our rapidly growing team. This role requires a finance and accounting expert who will collaborate with multiple clients and financial stakeholders to review and analyze critical financial data that supports business decisions within our software. Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with engineering teams to prioritize, develop, and test financial features, ensuring successful code rollouts.
  • Work with Finance Leadership to streamline reporting processes across products.
  • Review current reports for continuous improvement, including functional updates, design enhancements, and potential report retirements.
  • Assist in accounts receivable cleanup efforts and other accounting projects for external clients.
  • Utilize JIRA and Excel to manage and track financial reporting issues (e.g., bugs, enhancements).
  • Gain a deep understanding of all Axxess products, aligning with the company’s vision and mission.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience in the Home Health or Home Care industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP standards.
  • Ability to audit reports for accuracy and logic, identifying and correcting calculation errors.
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, with expertise in pivot tables, complex reconciliations, and VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP functions.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
