Job Overview
We are seeking a Human Resource Specialist to provide strategic and operational HR support across all businesses within the group. This role balances traditional HR responsibilities with a people-first approach, fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will excel in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance while promoting employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Manage recruitment across subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with each business’s culture.
- Implement creative sourcing strategies to find ideal candidates.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and background checks.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Oversee seamless onboarding experiences across businesses.
- Conduct exit interviews, gathering insights to improve retention.
- Ensure compliance during offboarding processes.
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
- Address workplace concerns and mediate conflicts across all business units.
- Foster a communicative, respectful work environment.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in setting performance expectations and conducting appraisals.
- Develop performance improvement plans (PIPs) and employee development programs.
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
- Administer benefits programs across subsidiaries, including health insurance and pension plans.
- Provide guidance on compensation and recommend updates to benefits packages.
Training & Development:
- Coordinate training programs across different business units.
- Implement workshops on diversity, leadership, and mental health to promote inclusivity.
HR Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure all HR policies comply with labor laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR policies regularly.
Employee Engagement & Well-Being:
- Develop engagement strategies, promoting team-building and employee recognition.
- Champion mental health and well-being initiatives.
HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Track HR metrics and prepare regular reports on HR performance.
- Use data-driven insights to refine HR strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably within multi-business or holding company structures.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employment regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (e.g., CHRM-CP).
- Experience in real estate, digital, financial, or hospitality sectors.
- Background in employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Experience in HR data analytics and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary of ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month.
