Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the company’s fleet.
• Ensure vehicles and bikes are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and meet safety standards.
• Develop and optimize efficient route plans to enhance vehicle efficiency and reduce transit time.
• Implement and oversee a preventive maintenance program for all fleet vehicles and bikes.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and external service providers for timely repairs and inspections.
• Stay updated on local and national transportation regulations and ensure driver compliance.
• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drivers.
• Develop and manage budgets for fleet operations, including fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and vehicle acquisitions.
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize operational expenses.
• Generate reports on fleet performance, analyzing fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and delivery metrics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by executives.

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Education: OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: 2 – 4 years in fleet management or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of current trends in the transport and logistics industry.
• Familiarity with project management and business processes.
• Proficiency in Power BI and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of vehicle tracking systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Team player with good presentation skills.

Salary

₦150,000 – ₦300,000 Monthly
