HR Generalist at Ace Talent Consulting
Ace Talent Consulting is a recruitment agency providing talent solutions to companies in the Energy, Engineering, Marine, and Construction Industries.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in sourcing and recruiting top talent for architectural, design, and administrative roles.
- Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
- Promote company culture and values through employee engagement initiatives.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Manage HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and performance reviews.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Support payroll processes by verifying attendance, leave records, and employee benefits.
- Assist in resolving payroll-related queries in a timely manner.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbooks as needed.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for staff.
- Monitor employee development and recommend growth opportunities.
Performance Management:
- Support the implementation of performance evaluation systems.
- Track employee progress and recommend actionable insights to managers.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably within an architectural, construction, or design-focused organization.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must reside within Lagos Island or surrounding areas.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
