Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Raw Material Supervisor to manage the receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of raw materials for production. This role is key to ensuring inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the smooth running of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the receipt and inspection of incoming raw materials for quality and quantity.
- Ensure proper storage conditions according to material requirements (e.g., temperature, humidity, segregation).
- Oversee the issuance of raw materials to production teams based on daily schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and raise timely alerts for reordering or potential shortages.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards in the storage area.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning departments for supply chain efficiency.
- Identify non-conforming materials and manage their return or disposal.
- Work closely with quality control teams for sampling and clearance of raw materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems and perform regular stock audits.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in raw material handling or warehouse supervision, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage sectors.
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Solid understanding of material handling procedures and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or ISO standards.
- Experience with lean warehousing or inventory optimization techniques.
