Job Summary
Mondelez International is seeking a Project Engineer to support capital project planning, execution, and technical development across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will help ensure that Mondelez’s project management processes and execution standards are followed while maintaining the highest level of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute capital projects using Mondelez standards and project management processes
- Define and deliver technical solutions and capital plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Drive consistent product quality and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance
- Achieve vertical startup and plant performance goals
- Implement PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) for reliability
- Oversee site productivity, innovation, and repeated project execution
- Conduct GEMBA walks, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Enforce SOP, CIL, centerline, LOTO, and GMP compliance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including OEMs and support teams
Key Interfaces / Stakeholders
Internal: Line Leads, M&R Leads, Section Managers, QA Team, TPM Pillars (FI, E&T, PM), Local R&D
External: OEMs, contractors, and project support teams
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a process or production plant
- Project Management Certification (added advantage)
- Knowledge of IL6S/TPM and ability to interpret section diagrams and P&ID drawings
- Familiarity with MS Office and MS Project
- Strong analytical, project management, and operational efficiency skills
- Understanding of component materials and how to optimize quality and process reliability
