Selar’s Tuition Fund
Through the Tuition Support Project, Selar aims to provide financial assistance by subsidizing tuition fees for 50 graduating students in any Tertiary Institution in Nigeria.
Rationale for Investing in Education
What motivates us to do this?
The significant rise in tuition fees across Nigeria, rendering education unattainable for many. Nigeria grapples with the highest dropout rate in Africa, largely due to economic challenges and soaring tuition costs. A large portion of Nigeria’s unemployed population has only completed secondary education or below.
Selection Criteria:
- Accuracy in completing the application and submission of all required documents greatly influences the outcome of your application.
- Must be a student residing and studying in Nigeria.
- Must be a graduating student enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution (public, selected private, polytechnic).
- A clear statement of purpose.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.0 or a cumulative grade of 65% or higher, supported by academic records.
- Must demonstrate financial or economic need.
Goal:
- To empower Nigerian students by offering N5,000,000 in tuition assistance to 50 graduating students through our Tuition Fund project.
Objectives
- To provide NGN100,000 each to support 50 graduating students.
- To formally launch the Selar Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Arm.
