UNICEF’s Internship Programme for the year 2023/2024 presents an opportunity for students and recent graduates from various academic backgrounds to partake in fully-funded global internships. Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for this program, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. program, or have graduated within the past two years.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one of UNICEF’s working languages: English, French, or Spanish. Fluency in the specific working language of the office where you intend to intern may also be necessary.
- Not have immediate relatives (e.g., parents, siblings) employed by UNICEF, nor any close relatives in your reporting chain of command.
- Exhibit strong academic performance and motivation.
- Any relevant professional experience related to the desired internship role will receive additional consideration.

- Duration: Typically, internships range from six to twenty-six weeks and can be undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis.
- Financial Support: UNICEF offers a monthly stipend to interns, and in cases where funding is available, a one-time lump sum is provided to assist with travel and visa expenses.
- Visa Support: If necessary, UNICEF will supply the necessary supporting documents for visa applications.
