Account Officer at Oiltest Group
Oiltest Group, established in 1992, is a fully indigenous Nigerian company providing oilfield services to oil-producing companies. Headquartered in Port Harcourt, with a liaison office in Lagos, Oiltest offers a range of services including fluid sampling, production testing, electronic data acquisition, and PVT laboratory services. Over the years, the company has expanded to offer well analysis, coiled tubing, nitrogen services, and more through strategic alliances.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in Lagos. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensure proper financial controls are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports and monthly trial balances.
- Manage and supervise intercompany accounts.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with financial and tax audits.
- Prepare cash flow projections and provide financial analysis.
- Participate in other finance and accounting projects as required.
Requirements:
- First Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting role.
- Experience in using Sage Accounting software is required.
- Chartered Accountant certification is an advantage.

- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed accounting records.
