Job Summary:

Noreta Constructions Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accountant to join our finance department. The Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting functions, and ensuring smooth financial workflows. Responsibilities include daily accounting tasks, financial report preparation, budget management, and handling accounts payable/receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for decision-making.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes for accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with payroll processing in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed financial transaction records.
• Provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments for accurate project costing and reporting.
• Prepare tax returns and manage timely regulatory filings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, ACA) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software is essential.
• Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Knowledge of construction accounting is highly preferred.

Salary:

₦250,000 – ₦300,000 Monthly
