Admin / HR Manager at Global HR Always

Global HR Always is an HR Support firm dedicated to carrying out human resource functions for and on behalf of our clients. We are currently recruiting for a prominent client in the frozen fish importation and distribution sector in West Africa.

Job Responsibilities:
Human Resource Functions:
  1. Departmental Management:
    • Oversee the operations of the Human Resource Department.
    • Maintain regular liaison with government agencies to ensure compliance.
    • Align human capital with the business strategy and organizational policies.
  2. Staffing and Performance:
    • Provide strategic staffing consultations to management.
    • Design and implement workforce performance systems and in-house training programs.
    • Develop and manage an annual leave schedule for employees.
    • Oversee staff recruitment and handle pre-employment and post-employment processes.
  3. Policy and Reporting:
    • Submit regular reports as per company policies.
    • Assist in designing and implementing HR policies and strategies.
    • Conduct and review staff appraisals.
    • Maintain updated organization charts and propose new policies to enhance HR efficacy.
  4. Disciplinary and Conflict Management:
    • Manage disciplinary and grievance issues.
    • Maintain accurate personnel records and manage HR databases.
    • Handle staff discipline and conflict resolution effectively.
Administrative Functions:
  1. Office Management:
    • Ensure efficient day-to-day office operations.
    • Maintain a quality management system in line with ISO standards.
    • Monitor and maintain office systems, including file organization and generator maintenance.
  2. Travel and Facilities:
    • Arrange travel and accommodation for staff and guests.
    • Oversee services such as maintenance, supplies, and mail.
    • Conduct daily office inspections and manage diesel purchases and consumption.
Logistics Functions:
  1. Fleet Management:
    • Implement the organization’s Fleet Management and Operations Plan.
    • Monitor mechanics and keep documentation of vehicle spare parts and tires.
    • Ensure all drivers have valid licenses and manage transport staff activities.
    • Maintain an up-to-date inventory and perform daily checks on company vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualification:
    • First Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Admin/HR Manager in a structured organization.
  • Age:
    • Candidates should not be older than 45 years.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • An MBA and relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in computer skills, including spreadsheet preparation.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of staff.
  • High cognitive and analytical skills.
Salary Offer:
  • N400,000 per month
