Job Summary:

This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the daily operations of EngenderHealth. The selected candidate will assist the administrative team in managing office operations and logistics, contributing to the smooth running of EngenderHealth Nigeria’s activities. The role offers hands-on experience in office management, administrative support, and logistics within a nonprofit setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized office environment, including managing supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs for a safe workspace.
  • Assist in organizing logistics for meetings, workshops, and events, including venue bookings and materials preparation.
  • Support travel arrangements for staff, including flights and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records, both digital and physical, for easy document access.
  • Monitor office inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and taking minutes.
  • Assist with front desk duties, such as answering calls and welcoming visitors.
  • Manage the organization’s general email inbox and handle routine inquiries.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as guided by the supervisor.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Keen interest in nonprofit administration and a commitment to EngenderHealth’s mission.
  • Completion of National Youth Service (NYSC) with at least 1 year of work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of office administration, logistics, and document management.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Salary:

₦300,000 – ₦330,000 / month.
