Job Description
Company Overview: Our client is a leading printing firm in continuous operation now for almost
6 decades. Specializing in high-quality printing services for educational and general interest
materials while delivering innovative solutions and excellent customer service to its clients.
Job Objective: To oversee the company’s Engineering Services function, ensuring optimal
technical operations, maintenance, and innovation to enhance productivity and efficiency across
all business units. The role will ensure cost efficiency and align engineering initiatives with the
company’s production and business goals.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
▪ Oversee the lifecycle of projects from conceptualization to execution, including planning,
design, scheduling, procurement, vendor management, site supervision, and progress
monitoring
▪ Assesses emerging technologies in printing and packaging, and incorporate these
advancements into the firm’s strategic plan to remain competitive and meet evolving market
demands
▪ Prepare budgets for engineering-related investments and ensure that financial plans support
the firm’s growth objectives without compromising operational efficiency.
▪ Integrate sustainable practices into the firm’s engineering processes, such as reducing waste
or adopting energy-efficient technologies.
▪ Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all printed materials meet industry
standards.
▪ Enhance customer experience by delivering high-performing infrastructure solutions that meet
their needs effectively.
▪ Responsible for efficient and effective maintenance of all equipment for optimal performance
▪ Responsible for training and development of team on the job.
▪ Effectively Manage the relationship of the firm and its third-party engineering service
providers.
▪ Periodic reporting to Executive Management and board.
▪ Report to the ED Sales and Operations.
Job Requirements
▪ A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical,
Industrial).
▪ A postgraduate degree in management, business, or a related field can be an asset
▪ Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related engineering position, preferably within the
printing, packaging, or material handling industries.
▪ A degree or certification in printing technology, packaging, or a related field is highly
beneficial.
▪ Training in process printing/management and/or overseas training in printing technology can
be an added advantage.
▪ He/she must have a strong understanding of printing processes, equipment, and
technologies.
▪ He/she must have experience in managing resources in an organized corporate company.
