Contract – 6 Months

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled API Developer to design, build, and optimize APIs while ensuring efficiency, security, and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop APIs according to specifications.
  • Write and maintain tests to ensure at least 80% API coverage.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines and ensure deployment readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API-related bugs promptly.
  • Optimize code and evaluate queries for efficiency.
  • Ensure API security to guard against vulnerabilities.
  • Use the latest Laravel, MySQL, and relevant libraries.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by the CTO.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Laravel API development.
  • Strong knowledge of Laravel and MySQL.
  • Experience with API development, testing frameworks, and CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with Docker.
  • Fintech experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
