OM INNOVATIONS LTD is a provider of integrated Engineering, Technology, and Design solutions in Nigeria. We offer IT services, support, installation and maintenance, project management, building services, architectural and interior design, graphics, and website development. We are expanding our client base and seeking a Business Developer to support growth across all business units, including CareerOM — our recruitment and job board brand. The ideal candidate must be proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Job Title: Business Developer

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Conduct market and competitor research
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations
  • Generate leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Track sales pipeline and provide weekly performance reports
  • Represent the company professionally during virtual meetings and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Prepare and submit weekly activity reports
  • Monitor client satisfaction and ensure smooth onboarding for new clients
  • Schedule and lead virtual sales meetings with clients
  • Support proposal writing and respond to RFPs or client briefs
  • Attend virtual networking events, webinars, and professional forums to generate leads
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with CRMs such Brevo, HubSpot, Zoho CRM and other Zoho apps
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Familiarity with engineering, technology, or design sectors is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using LinkedIn for lead generation is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with construction, engineering, technology, or design sectors is an advantage
  • Good time management and lead-tracking ability
