Job Summary

12 Basket Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Account Intern to support its finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with financial documentation, record keeping, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks while gaining practical industry experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and documents
  • Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and expense recording
  • Perform accurate data entry and update accounting systems
  • Assist with payroll preparation and staff payment records
  • Help reconcile bank statements and petty cash records
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
  • File and organize accounting documents for easy retrieval
  • Support the finance team during audits and stock-taking exercises
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
  • Carry out other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
  • HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or currently undergoing studies)
  • 0–1 year experience in accounting or finance-related role
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
