Job Title: Content Intern

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

The Content Intern will support the content and marketing team in creating engaging written and visual content across multiple platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in fintech storytelling, digital marketing, and content strategy within a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating written content including blog posts, newsletters, social media copy, and marketing materials
• Support video content creation, including scripting, basic editing, and motion graphics
• Localize content for different regions (Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya)
• Conduct research on fintech trends, payments, and business finance topics
• Help manage content calendars and ensure timely publishing
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to produce engaging visuals
• Track content performance metrics and provide insights for improvement
• Support content needs for campaigns, events, and regional activations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
• Interest in fintech, B2B marketing, and African business ecosystems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
• Portfolio of writing or video projects is an added advantage
