Job Title: Engineering Intern / Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos

Position Summary

The Engineering Intern / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) will support the structural engineering team in preparing calculations, drawings, and technical documentation under the supervision of experienced engineers. This role is designed to provide early-career engineers with practical exposure to engineering design, construction practices, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist engineers with structural calculations and engineering analysis
  • Prepare drawings and technical details using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Support preparation of engineering calculation packages
  • Review vendor drawings and equipment submittals
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs and preliminary load calculations
  • Support project documentation and engineering file organization
  • Participate in site visits and field observations when required
  • Assist with responding to RFIs and coordination requests from project teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or currently pursuing)
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering fundamentals
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or engineering calculation tools
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
