Job Summary

Sapphire Air BNB is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain its short-let apartment in Port Harcourt GRA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the apartment is thoroughly cleaned, well-organized, hygienic, and guest-ready before every check-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and other designated spaces.
• Change and properly arrange bed linens, towels, and other guest supplies.
• Wash, dry, fold, and store laundry when required.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and thoroughly clean surfaces throughout the apartment.
• Clean kitchen appliances, cabinets, sinks, countertops, and other kitchen areas.
• Restock toiletries, tissue, cleaning materials, and other guest amenities.
• Conduct a final inspection after cleaning to ensure the apartment is neat, functional, and presentable.
• Report damaged or missing items, maintenance issues, and unusual observations promptly.
• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Complete cleaning assignments within the required turnaround time between guests.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Airbnb, hotel, short-let, housekeeping, or residential cleaning is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
• Honest, trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle laundry and operate basic household cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
• Must reside in or around Port Harcourt GRA or be able to conveniently commute to the location.
