Cashier at The Place (Smackers Limited)

The Place is a fast-growing, world-class, and dynamic Nigerian conglomerate managed by a team of professionals with decades of management consulting and accounting experience, including training from Arthur Andersen (now KPMG in Nigeria). Operating in the QSR sector of the Hospitality industry, we boast a profitable and thriving business with staff strength of over 1,000 employees. Currently, our operations span across 17 locations in Lagos and Abuja, with plans for rapid expansion in the short to medium term.

Job Summary

As the Restaurant Cashier, you will work alongside team members to ensure customers have an exceptional experience, deliver quality service, and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers courteously and address issues/complaints promptly.
• Accurately process sales entries and issue receipts to customers.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene at all times.
• Stay knowledgeable about the company’s products.
• Exhibit suggestive selling skills to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE; maximum of OND.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage but not compulsory.
• Age: 18-25 years.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must reside in or be able to work in Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikota, or Ikoyi.
