Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer (Media)

Location: Lagos (Remote)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative, data-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to shape and execute our brand’s marketing strategy. You will drive audience engagement, platform growth, and market penetration—especially in emerging African and Caribbean markets—through digital marketing, content strategy, and community building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a holistic marketing strategy to grow AboutJobs TV’s audience and enhance brand visibility across Africa and the Caribbean
  • Position ACR AboutJobs TV Ltd as the leading multimedia platform for career development, job search guidance, and workforce empowerment
  • Lead and mentor the in-house marketing team, coordinate with external agencies, and manage media partnerships for high-impact campaigns across TV, digital, and social channels
  • Oversee creation and distribution of engaging content, including career shows, market insights, testimonials, and success stories
  • Design and optimize user acquisition and retention strategies across paid and organic channels (social media, SEO, email marketing, influencer collaborations)
  • Build analytics frameworks to track KPIs, campaign performance, and platform engagement metrics
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and partnerships teams to ensure brand consistency and user-centric design
  • Represent the brand at industry events, online forums, and media engagements to expand reach and relevance
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience in digital media, career platforms, or workforce development
  • Demonstrated success in marketing campaigns targeting African and Caribbean audiences
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing tools, automation, data analytics, and brand storytelling
  • Experience in TV or content-focused marketing is a strong advantage
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
