Job Title: Civil / Structural Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Design structural plans, models, and renderings using relevant software tools
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure structural integrity
• Supervise infrastructure projects and ensure timely, on-budget delivery
• Perform environmental and local impact analyses
• Forecast project timelines and ensure materials, equipment, and labor are cost-effective
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and artisans on project execution
• Prepare necessary documentation and secure permits from relevant authorities
• Perform soil tests to assess building feasibility
• Manage repairs, maintenance, and structural modifications
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
• Ensure full compliance with safety and building regulations
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Eng or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Building Technology
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer

Core Skills

• Proficiency in design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, and safety standards
• Technical understanding of site layout, grading, and construction design
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership, supervision, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
