Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect (Senior Level) to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for our rapidly growing business. As part of Alpha Global, you will leverage your expertise to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to collaborate with our teams across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture: Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
• Migration & Hybrid Solutions: Lead cloud migration projects and architect hybrid solutions that span on-premises and cloud environments.
• Automation & IaC: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate cloud deployments, reducing manual processes and improving scalability.
• Networking & Security: Develop and manage networking protocols (VPCs, IAM), apply security measures (encryption, security groups), and ensure compliance with cloud security standards (GDPR, ISO).
• Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize cost efficiency through careful budgeting and resource allocation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional coursework or certifications in cloud computing is a strong plus.
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, including complex cloud solutions, migrations, and hybrid environments.
• Certifications:
  • Highly Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Azure (VMs, Azure AD), and Google Cloud (Compute Engine, BigQuery).
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for automating deployments.
  • Strong networking and security knowledge in cloud environments (VPCs, IAM, encryption).
  • Familiarity with cost management tools within cloud platforms.

Salary

₦500,000 – ₦700,000 monthly
