Sustainability Reporting Manager

Job Description

We are engaged in a series of sustainability-focused projects and require the support of consultants who will work closely with our internal team to lead the development of sustainability reports, evaluate key ESG metrics, and contribute to building frameworks that inform strategic decision-making. Given the dynamic nature of our work, the consultant may support multiple client engagements during this period.

Project Scope and Requirements:

Objective: Support sustainability strategy or report development through advanced research and analysis, with a focus on quantifiable sustainability metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting Participation: Attend regular meetings, either in person or virtually, to collaborate with the team and provide updates.
• Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for each project, as may be needed, capturing all key findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Analytical Insights: Utilise advanced analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights that inform project strategy and decision-making.
• Analyse environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data and translate into meaningful insights
• Collaborate with clients to enhance their sustainability initiatives, including aligning their reporting with their corporate strategies
• Develop key documents through rigorous research and engagement

• Drive project-led research and proposals that advocate for new policies or approaches on sensitive and complex issues such as protection, humanitarian access, or human rights.
• Oversee the annual roll-out of the CSIR and manage its partnerships, data collection, and analysis.

Consultant Requirements:

• Proven experience in sustainability reporting, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or ESG-related roles.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to provide a strategic outlook on sustainability metrics.
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
