Job Summary:

The Data Analyst at Buybeta Investment Limited will support the company’s data needs by analyzing sales, inventory, and market trends to optimize product availability, improve operational efficiency, and enhance decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and work closely with production, supply chain, and marketing teams to align inventory with demand, helping to reduce costs while ensuring stock availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Management:
  Gather, manage, and track sales, product performance, and inventory data across warehouses, retail locations, and online platforms. Implement tools to improve stock visibility and accuracy.
• Inventory Analysis & Forecasting:
  Analyze inventory trends, identify product demand patterns, and create demand forecasts to optimize stock levels. Recommend actions to address slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Sales & Market Data Analysis:
  Evaluate sales data to identify top-selling products and emerging customer preferences. Monitor trends across retail and e-commerce channels, supporting marketing and product teams with data-driven insights.
• Inventory Optimization:
  Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes, improve turnover, and reduce excess stock. Implement optimization models based on product lifecycle and seasonality.
• Reporting & Data Visualization:
  Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to visualize key metrics. Generate weekly and monthly reports to track performance indicators.
• Collaboration Across Departments:
  Work with production, supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to ensure data insights align with business goals. Provide recommendations to enhance sourcing, packaging, and delivery strategies.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay current with industry best practices in data analytics and inventory management, and explore new tools to enhance analysis capabilities and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R).
• Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho).
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with inventory turnover, stock replenishment, and demand forecasting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally with inventory management experience in retail or skincare.
• Experience in e-commerce platforms and integration with inventory systems.
• Must reside within the Lekki area.
