We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary of Responsibilities

The Design Engineer is responsible for generating, managing, and securing design drawings while ensuring their successful application in production. The role also involves CAD drafting, CNC programming, and design verification for sheet metal processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate, sketch, and draft all internal drawings required in the plant.
• Translate sketches into CAD software and develop CNC machine programs.
• Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure design accuracy.
• Follow up at different production stages to ensure job completion.
• Identify non-conformities and halt production if necessary.
• Maintain security, adequacy, and accuracy of all company drawings (hard and soft copies).
• Report directly to the Metal Work Supervisor.

Requirements

• B.Sc / B.Eng in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, modeling, and NC programming.
• Experience with measuring instruments such as calipers and tri-squares.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in CAD design for sheet metal processing.
