Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment used in oilfield operations. The role involves diagnosing and fixing diesel engines for trucks, cranes, forklifts, and more, while ensuring the preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines for various vehicles such as trucks, cranes, and forklifts.
  • Perform routine servicing and replace parts as necessary.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment are in good condition.
  • Service equipment in the field and maintain it during operations.
  • Inspect equipment and vehicles upon return from the field for repair or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain and service other equipment, including compressors, generators, and pressure washers.
  • Keep accurate service and repair records for all vehicles and equipment.
  • Verify repairs and services done by third parties or external vendors on diesel equipment.
Requirements:
  • Diagnostic skills, both manual and using machines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of SSCE certificate or Trade Test Certificate.
  • Diesel Mechanic Training certificates will be an added advantage.
