Egbin PowerUp 2025 Internship Programme

Egbin Power Plc, Lagos, is one of the largest power plants in Sub-Saharan Africa, playing a pivotal role in Nigeria’s electricity sector. Owned by Sahara Power Group, the Egbin Power Plant has an installed capacity of 1,320 MW, with plans to increase Nigeria’s power generation by deploying 5,000 MW over the next five years.

Internship Description:

The Egbin PowerUp Internship Programme provides a valuable experience for students, bridging theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. Participants gain essential skills, build confidence, and enhance creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Duration: January – June 2025

Eligibility:
  • Students must have a Second Class Upper (2:1) grade or its equivalent at the time of application.
