Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the manufacture and installation of electrical equipment and systems. This includes power generators, motors, communications systems, and electrical components used in buildings, vehicles, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and test electrical systems and devices using computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering tools
  • Create project plans, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders on current or potential projects
  • Ensure systems and installations meet standards and client requirements
  • Perform detailed calculations and establish standards for construction, installation, and manufacturing
  • Oversee activities related to installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Prepare reports and analyze data for new and existing engineering projects
  • Draft technical specifications and recommend equipment purchases
  • Supervise the installation of electrical systems in buildings
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and construction
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment
Academic Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Solid knowledge of electronic and electrical engineering codes and standards
  • Proficient with engineering software and CAD tools
  • Strong grasp of design principles and tools
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
