Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Sunlight Resources Limited

Sunlight Resources Limited, a Food & Snack Production Company based in the Mushin area of Lagos, Nigeria, has been operating for over 16 years. Initially founded as a father-son venture, Fun Snax started in 2005 with the launch of their popular cheeseballs. Over the years, they expanded their product range to include potato chips and shrimp crackers, thanks to the success of their initial offerings.

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer at our Mushin, Lagos location.

Job Requirements:

• Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in generator maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with synchronous panels, ATS panels, and breaker troubleshooting.
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of packing machines, particularly PLC-based machines.
• Knowledge of instrumentation.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting for various brands.
• Experience with metal detectors maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to handle relationships with third-party vendors.
• Knowledge of achieving zero breakdown and minimizing downtime.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance such as burners, UPS systems, utility equipment, extruders, popcorn kettles, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor machines and equipment continuously for improvement opportunities.
• Collect and record maintenance data.
• Adhere to scheduled preventive maintenance plans and spare parts management.
• Continuously improve maintenance strategies for better efficiency.
• Promote a safe working culture and conduct preventive maintenance planning.
• Plan equipment servicing and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.

Benefits:

• Monthly salary ranging from N250,000 to N300,000 (Net), depending on experience.
• Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage.
• 13th-month salary.
