Job Description
We are hiring for a Field Worker III at International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) who will be assist in setting up field trials and general field maintenance.

Duration: 6 months (renewable)
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up field trials and support phenotyping and data collection for station trials.
- Conduct pollination on crossing blocks and handle general field maintenance.
- Apply herbicides and insecticides for field trial management.
- Maintain trials in screen houses and glass houses.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of O’level education with at least three (3) years of experience in a similar role within a structured environment.
- Experience in agriculture or a related field is a plus.
Competencies
The ideal candidate should:
- Be proficient in using the Field Book application for data entry.
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
