About the Role:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing internal controls within Reckitt Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures for risk assessment, control testing, audit support, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure business operations comply with standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Collaborate with business owners to implement corrective actions following internal control assessments.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide periodic reporting on internal control status to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency and mitigating risks.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Ensure the Reckitt Financial Controls Framework (RFCF) is implemented across all departments.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the internal control system, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide training on internal control best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in audit or internal control.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) are preferred.
