About the Role:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing internal controls within Reckitt Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures for risk assessment, control testing, audit support, and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure business operations comply with standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Collaborate with business owners to implement corrective actions following internal control assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide periodic reporting on internal control status to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency and mitigating risks.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Ensure the Reckitt Financial Controls Framework (RFCF) is implemented across all departments.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the internal control system, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide training on internal control best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in audit or internal control.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JDE) and accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) are preferred.
