Job Description:

Cash and Bank Management:

• Assist in processing bank and cash transactions.
• Review payment vouchers for completeness and accuracy.
• Update and share bank balances with the Group.

Internal Control:

• Minimize risks, protect assets, ensure record accuracy, promote operational efficiency, and enforce policy adherence.
• Develop, document, and implement finance policies, systems, and procedures.
• Stay updated on local government financial requirements and ensure tax and legal compliance.

Payment and Payroll Processing:

• Review payments within set limits, ensuring adherence to procurement procedures and documentation standards.
• Process vendor and beneficiary payments promptly.
• Ensure timely payment processing to SEPS and ECs.
• Review weekly and monthly commissions paid to SEPS and ECs.

Treasury and Cash Flow Management:

• Coordinate bank-related instructions, including user additions and deletions.
• Monitor banking activity and maintain bank balances.

Month-End Close-Out:

• Participate in the monthly financial close-out process.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Support the closure of all statutory, tax, external, and internal audits.
• Ensure 100% compliance with monthly regulatory requirements (PAYE, NSITF, NHF, PENSION, VAT, and WHT).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• Relevant experience in a finance role.
• Excellent computer and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized and accurate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
