Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing financial processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Assist in financial planning, cash flow management, and cost control.
Banking & Treasury Operations
- Manage relationships with banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions.
- Monitor bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund transfers.
- Optimize treasury functions, including liquidity and capital management.
- Support financing initiatives, including loan applications and credit facility management.
Fintech & Digital Finance
- Oversee financial operations related to digital payments, remittances, and POS.
- Collaborate with tech teams to integrate financial solutions into the company’s digital platforms.
- Ensure compliance with fintech regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and payment processing standards.
- Stay updated on emerging fintech trends and recommend innovations for financial efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial regulators as needed.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies.
Stakeholder & Business Support
- Provide financial insights to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
- Support investment analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modeling for new projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CIMA, ICAN) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in finance, banking, or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, digital payments, and fintech operations.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
