Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing financial processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in financial planning, cash flow management, and cost control.
Banking & Treasury Operations
  • Manage relationships with banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions.
  • Monitor bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund transfers.
  • Optimize treasury functions, including liquidity and capital management.
  • Support financing initiatives, including loan applications and credit facility management.
Fintech & Digital Finance
  • Oversee financial operations related to digital payments, remittances, and POS.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to integrate financial solutions into the company’s digital platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with fintech regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and payment processing standards.
  • Stay updated on emerging fintech trends and recommend innovations for financial efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial regulators as needed.
  • Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies.
Stakeholder & Business Support
  • Provide financial insights to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Support investment analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modeling for new projects.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CIMA, ICAN) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in finance, banking, or fintech.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, digital payments, and fintech operations.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
