Frontend Engineer at Moniepoint Incorporated

About The Role
The Frontend Engineer is responsible for producing and implementing functional software solutions for web clients using the React.js application framework. While prior experience with React.js is preferred, experience with similar JavaScript frameworks will also be considered.
You will collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to define software requirements and lead operational and technical projects. The role requires the ability to work independently, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies.
The primary goal is to develop high-quality software aligned with user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle.
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- Review and debug code.
- Perform validation and verification testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
- Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technology.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a B.Sc in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience:
- 3-6 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer.
- 4+ years of experience with React, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in software development, scripting, and project management.
- Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
