Head of Sales at Hobark International Limited

Hobark International Limited (HIL) is a leader in the oil and gas industry, serving as the parent company of the Hobark group. Founded in 1998 as a staffing agency in Port Harcourt, the company now operates in four countries, with its headquarters in Lagos.

Responsibilities
  • Expand the customer portfolio by acquiring new markets.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Implement sales policies, terms, and conditions aligned with group guidelines.
  • Maintain a comprehensive monthly sales reporting system per group standards.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
  • Exhibit and promote core values: Entrepreneurship, Agility, and Performance.
  • Define objectives for the sales team and assess individual performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand Corporate Identity Guidelines and sales processes.
  • Lead and support the sales team to achieve targets effectively.
  • Utilize market data and customer insights to gain a competitive edge.
  • Manage relationships with top B2B customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with dealerships outside Lagos, including Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • HND / BSc. in Business, Management, or Social Science courses.
    • MSc. / MBA in a related field is highly desirable.
    • Relevant professional qualifications are an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    • At least 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in sales of automobiles and car spare parts.
    • Proven growth through sales ranks.
  • Primary Skills:
    • Customer insight, B2B sales, and team management.
