Job Purpose / Objective
We are seeking an HR Executive who will function as both a strategic architect and executor—designing HR frameworks, driving compliance, and fostering a thriving people-first culture. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in startups or consulting firms who can create operational clarity and align HR practices with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Structure
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and documentation tailored to hospitality operations.
- Establish onboarding, offboarding, and performance management systems.
- Create an HR Operations Manual while ensuring labor law compliance.
People Operations
- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job profiling, interviews, and onboarding for operational and support roles.
- Oversee workforce planning for property launches and seasonal scaling.
- Champion employee relations, grievance handling, and transparent communication.
Culture & Engagement
- Drive culture, values, and service excellence initiatives.
- Implement engagement and recognition programs, training, and development.
- Build a strong employer brand both internally and externally.
Performance & Compliance
- Implement performance management systems and HR dashboards.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and benefits.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations on HR budgeting, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven HR experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, policy development, and Nigerian labor law.
- High emotional intelligence, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Hospitality or service sector background is a significant advantage.
