mothers2mothers (m2m) is an African Primary Health Care organization that employs women living with HIV as community health workers across 10 African nations. These “Mentor Mothers” deliver integrated health services at clinics and in communities to ensure everyone, everywhere, has access to the services they need to be healthy and stay in care. Over the next five years, this proven, peer-led model is being scaled to double down on ending HIV, as well as to tackle new health challenges and reach more people — all with the aim of building a fairer, healthier future.
Since its creation in 2001, m2m has created jobs for nearly 12,000 women living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa, reaching over 15 million people with critical health services and education. In 2021 alone, m2m reached over 1.6 million people across 10 African nations, including 402,616 adolescents (ages 10–19) — 51% more than the year before. The organization has achieved virtual elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV among enrolled clients for eight consecutive years, meeting all UNAIDS Fast-Track Targets four years ahead of the 2026 goal.

Key Performance Areas
HR Administration and System Support
- Provide HR administration support to the Nigeria Country HR and other administration functions as required
- Provide backup HR support in the absence of the Senior Officer; Human Resources
- Provide system support on Employee Management, Recruitment, and Learning Systems
- Assist the Senior HR Officer for the Innovation Hub with administrative tasks
Recruitment, Selection and Orientation/On-boarding
- Support recruitment and selection processes by providing clerical and administrative assistance
- Arrange interviews and handle related administration
- Support onboarding and orientation workshop preparations
- Notify the organisation of joiners and leavers in coordination with the Senior HR Officer
- Update job descriptions and interview guides and file them appropriately
- Provide system support on the online recruitment system (Silver Soft) including uploading CVs and job requisitions
Learning and Development
- Provide administrative support for the m2m online learning portal and training programmes
- Act as super user on the Humentum learning portal, registering employees, answering queries, and maintaining the site
Knowledge Sharing and HR Projects
- Maintain HR documents and templates on shared folders
- Assist with HR projects, work plans, and calendar activities as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year post-NYSC work experience in a Human Resources department
- Working knowledge of MS Office
