Position Summary:

The HR Executive will oversee all aspects of human resources practices within the hotel, ensuring we attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive culture. You will collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, focusing on employee well-being and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company hiring regulations.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Serve as a contact for HR-related matters, resolving conflicts and grievances.
  • Foster a positive work environment that enhances employee engagement.
  • Organize team-building activities and recognition programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and leverage feedback to improve culture.
Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and design development programs.
  • Implement orientation and leadership training initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness in meeting strategic goals.
Compensation and Benefits Management:
  • Oversee payroll processing for accurate and timely compensation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation.
Compliance and Legal:
  • Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on HR legal regulations and advise management.
Performance Management:
  • Implement the performance review process for regular employee feedback.
  • Support managers in developing performance improvement plans.
  • Identify talent for promotions and career development.
Health, Safety, and Employee Well-being:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Promote employee health and wellness programs.
  • Handle workers’ compensation and assistance programs.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to provide insights to management.
  • Prepare regular HR reports for the management team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience in a multi-property hotel chain or large-scale hospitality group.
