Human Resources Executive at Wakanow

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Executive will support Wakanow’s HR team in managing daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and administration. This role is essential for fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring HR compliance, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist with the full recruitment cycle, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
- Manage job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct background checks.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies and benefits.
- Support engagement activities and assist in resolving employee issues, escalating as necessary.
- HR Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate employee records, including job titles, compensation, appraisals, and leave.
- Prepare HR documentation, such as employment contracts, promotions, and terminations.
- Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and pension plans.
- Address employee questions on payroll, benefits, and compensation.
- Performance Management and Development:
- Coordinate performance reviews and distribute appraisal forms.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating employee training programs.
- HR Projects and Initiatives:
- Participate in HR projects focused on enhancing employee engagement and inclusion.
- Contribute to developing HR policies aligned with organizational goals.
- HR Reporting and Data Management:
- Generate HR metrics reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment, and satisfaction.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of employee data in HR systems.
