Job Summary:

The Human Resources Executive will support Wakanow’s HR team in managing daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and administration. This role is essential for fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring HR compliance, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Assist with the full recruitment cycle, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
    • Manage job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct background checks.
    • Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies and benefits.
    • Support engagement activities and assist in resolving employee issues, escalating as necessary.
  • HR Administration and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate employee records, including job titles, compensation, appraisals, and leave.
    • Prepare HR documentation, such as employment contracts, promotions, and terminations.
    • Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and pension plans.
    • Address employee questions on payroll, benefits, and compensation.
  • Performance Management and Development:
    • Coordinate performance reviews and distribute appraisal forms.
    • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating employee training programs.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives:
    • Participate in HR projects focused on enhancing employee engagement and inclusion.
    • Contribute to developing HR policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • HR Reporting and Data Management:
    • Generate HR metrics reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment, and satisfaction.
    • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of employee data in HR systems.
