Primary Purpose of the Role:

The Injection Maintenance Technician will perform skilled mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on factory equipment. This role requires independently handling daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, reporting on work performed, and observing equipment conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment in the factory.
  • Routine checks and repairs on pumps, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other machinery.
  • Conduct condition-based maintenance, identifying and addressing equipment abnormalities.
• Machinery Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose faults in mechanical systems, suggesting corrective actions to maintain reliability.
  • Execute repairs, modifications, and parts replacements, including alignment, belts, bearings, and seals adjustments.

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  • Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in mechanical maintenance is a plus.
• Experience:
  • 2-3 years in a Mechanical or Maintenance Technician role, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Experience with factory equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and conveyors.
• Skills:
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong hands-on maintenance skills.
  • Proficient in diagnostic tools and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and schematics.
  • Problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnostics.
  • Capable of participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.
