IOS Engineer At Fairmoney

FairMoney is building the leading mobile bank for emerging markets. We began with a digital microcredit application on Android and are now expanding to offer additional financial services (current accounts, savings, debit cards) while extending our reach to Western Africa and South-East Asia.

About the Role

The iOS Engineer will be responsible for developing new service functionality for FairMoney’s iOS application, enhancing the interaction between our mobile-first microfinance bank and customers globally. This role aims to maximize customer experience and utility.

Responsibilities

• Design and build mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features.
• Ensure application quality and performance meet specifications.
• Fix application bugs before final release.
• Publish applications on the App Store.
• Maintain the codebase and automation of the application.
• Design and implement application updates.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in iOS native development.
• Proficient in Swift or a similar language.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Ability to manage complexity in large projects.
• KMP experience is a big plus.
• Composable architecture knowledge (optional).
