Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, quality dishes, and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
• Coordination: Manage daily menu preparation, food presentation, and plating.
• Quality Control: Ensure dishes meet quality, presentation, and flavor standards; conduct taste tests and provide feedback.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory, ordering, and ingredient storage.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure kitchen equipment is in working order and report maintenance needs.

Administrative:

• Maintain records of inventory, staff hours, and kitchen operations.
• Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
• Participate in kitchen budgeting and cost management.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of kitchen supervisory experience in a restaurant.
• Education: Culinary arts certification or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen operations, food safety, and HACCP.

Desirable:

• Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Certification in food safety and allergen awareness.

Salary:

₦250,000 Monthly
