Logistics Assistant at World Health Organization (WHO)
The WHO country team supports technical cooperation, stimulates interest, and coordinates assistance for health development, based on global and regional strategies. It also gathers, analyzes, and disseminates health information.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain updated records of EPI fixed assets and attractive items, supervise physical verification, and prepare quarterly reports.
- Handle nonfunctional equipment disposal and maintain fixed assets barcodes.
- Oversee logistics for office and official residences, liaise with government counterparts for transactions, and ensure proper facilities management.
- Monitor logistics needs for zonal and state offices, provide monthly reports on logistic activities, and assess requirements for replacements or new purchases.
- Offer logistics support for upcoming needs and ensure accurate tracking of radio and satellite communication equipment.
- Liaise with zonal and state offices regarding vehicle, staff movement, and facilities maintenance.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Secondary education, ideally with logistics management technical training.
- Desirable: University degree or equivalent in Engineering or Management Sciences.
- Experience:
- Essential: At least 8 years of experience in logistics and operations in a complex, diverse environment (preferably international).
- Desirable: 2 years’ experience in inventory and warehouse management.
- Skills:
- IT proficiency, including word processing and standard office software.
- Proficiency in English.
